Royal Ashburn Golf Club is a premier golf course known for its exceptional service and stunning venue for events. We are currently seeking a dynamic and organized Event Planner to join our team. If you have a passion for planning and executing memorable events, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
As an Event Planner, your primary duties will include:
- Developing and monitoring emergency security plans.
- Creating marketing and communication plans.
- Preparing, presenting, and managing budgets.
- Assisting in budget preparation and coordination of media services.
- Planning and arranging accommodation and transportation services for events.
- Managing event logistics and supervising office and volunteer staff.
- Overseeing the execution of events for 50-99 participants.
Qualifications
Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year in meeting and event planning.
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role.
Skills Required
- Proficiency in Google Docs, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Windows.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Effective oral and written communication.
- Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.
Additional Information
- A valid driver’s license and own vehicle are required.
