Key Responsibilities
As a Pharmacy Helper, your primary duties will include:
- Entering client information into databases accurately.
- Maintaining prescription records and ensuring confidentiality.
- Keeping inventories of medications and pharmaceutical products organized.
- Processing claims related to health insurance or workers’ compensation.
- Performing general clerical duties to support pharmacy operations.
- Organizing and maintaining inventory to ensure availability of products.
Qualifications
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1 to 7 months of relevant experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is preferred.
Skills Required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to maintain inventory.
- Good communication skills and a client-focused approach.
