Key Responsibilities
As a Pharmacy Helper, your primary duties will include:

  • Entering client information into databases accurately.
  • Maintaining prescription records and ensuring confidentiality.
  • Keeping inventories of medications and pharmaceutical products organized.
  • Processing claims related to health insurance or workers’ compensation.
  • Performing general clerical duties to support pharmacy operations.
  • Organizing and maintaining inventory to ensure availability of products.

Qualifications

  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 to 7 months of relevant experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is preferred.

Skills Required

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to maintain inventory.
  • Good communication skills and a client-focused approach.
