Key Responsibilities
As a Food Service Supervisor, your primary duties will include:
- Establishing methods to meet work schedules and ensure effective operations.
- Supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
- Training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Estimating the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation.
- Preparing budget and cost estimates to manage operational expenses.
- Addressing customer complaints and concerns promptly and effectively.
- Maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Preparing food order summaries for the kitchen staff.
- Supervising the assembly of trays and the delivery of food trolleys.
Qualifications
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant experience in food service.
Skills Required
- Strong client focus and excellent oral communication skills.
- Efficient interpersonal skills with the ability to work as a team player.
- Flexibility and initiative to adapt to changing situations.
