Key Responsibilities
As a Sales Supervisor, your primary duties will include:
- Assigning sales workers to duties and establishing work schedules.
- Hiring and training new staff or arranging for their training.
- Authorizing payments by cheque and returns of merchandise.
- Preparing reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
- Resolving issues that arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
- Organizing and maintaining inventory to ensure availability of products.
- Supervising and coordinating the activities of sales staff.
- Conducting performance reviews for team members.
Qualifications
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in a sales or supervisory role.
Skills Required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Client-focused with a strong sense of reliability and initiative.
- Organized and able to manage various tasks effectively.
