Key Responsibilities
As an Embedded Software Designer, your primary duties will include:
- Collecting and documenting user requirements for software development projects.
- Coordinating the development, installation, integration, and operation of computer-based systems.
- Defining system functionality and developing flowcharts, layouts, and documentation to identify solutions.
- Developing process and network models to optimize system architecture.
- Evaluating performance and reliability of system designs and user feedback.
- Executing the full lifecycle of software development, from planning to maintenance.
- Researching technical information to design, develop, and test computer-based systems.
- Leading and coordinating teams of information systems professionals in the development of software and integrated information systems.
- Conducting usability testing and quality controls to ensure product quality.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree in a related field.
- Experience: 5 years or more of relevant experience in embedded software development.
Skills Required
- Proficiency in programming languages and tools such as JavaScript Object Notation (JSON), Tool Command Language (TCL), and robotic process automation.
- Strong knowledge of project implementation and design in the energy industry.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
