Key Responsibilities
As an Embedded Software Designer, your primary duties will include:

  • Collecting and documenting user requirements for software development projects.
  • Coordinating the development, installation, integration, and operation of computer-based systems.
  • Defining system functionality and developing flowcharts, layouts, and documentation to identify solutions.
  • Developing process and network models to optimize system architecture.
  • Evaluating performance and reliability of system designs and user feedback.
  • Executing the full lifecycle of software development, from planning to maintenance.
  • Researching technical information to design, develop, and test computer-based systems.
  • Leading and coordinating teams of information systems professionals in the development of software and integrated information systems.
  • Conducting usability testing and quality controls to ensure product quality.

Qualifications

  • Education: Master’s degree in a related field.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of relevant experience in embedded software development.

Skills Required

  • Proficiency in programming languages and tools such as JavaScript Object Notation (JSON), Tool Command Language (TCL), and robotic process automation.
  • Strong knowledge of project implementation and design in the energy industry.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
