Ramsid Inc. is a growing company specializing in procurement and supply chain solutions. We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Purchaser to join our team in Brampton. Key Responsibilities
As a Purchaser, your primary duties will include:
- Purchasing general and specialized equipment, materials, or business services.
- Assessing the requirements of the establishment to develop specifications for equipment, materials, and supplies.
- Consulting with suppliers and reviewing quotations.
- Determining contract terms and conditions and awarding contracts to appropriate parties.
- Establishing and monitoring delivery schedules to ensure timely procurement.
- Contacting clients and suppliers to resolve any issues that may arise.
- Planning, organizing, and overseeing the operational logistics of the organization.
- Providing excellent customer service to both clients and suppliers.
Qualifications
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in purchasing or procurement.
Skills Required
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and database management.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Organized and capable of multitasking with strong interpersonal skills.
