Key Responsibilities
As a CNC Machinist, your primary duties will include:
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables.
- Setting up and adjusting production machinery and tools.
- Documenting and reporting deviations from specifications and tolerances.
- Setting up and operating conventional and computer-controlled machine tools.
- Verifying dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
- Programming CNC machine tools to create precise components.
Qualifications
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a machining environment is an asset.
Skills Required
- Proficiency with measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers.
- Experience with drill presses, milling machines, and CNC machines.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
- Dependability and a commitment to quality workmanship.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
