Key Responsibilities
As a Millwright, your primary duties will include:
- Detecting and troubleshooting irregularities and malfunctions in machinery.
- Reading blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements.
- Repairing or replacing defective machinery parts.
- Fabricating parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up.
- Performing routine maintenance work on various machinery.
- Installing machinery and equipment, and operating hoisting and lifting equipment.
- Operating machining tools to fabricate parts and interpreting technical documents.
Qualifications
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the field.
Skills Required
- Proficiency in various welding techniques, including FCAW, GTAW (TIG), GMAW, and SMAW.
- Experience with conveyor systems, lathes, and other machining tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle physically demanding tasks.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
