We are currently seeking a dedicated Warehouse Worker to join our team in Scarborough, where you will play a crucial role in handling materials and ensuring smooth warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
As a Warehouse Worker, your primary duties will include:
- Building pallets and preparing products for shipping.
- Loading, unloading, and moving products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.
- Using sales forecasting software to aid in inventory management.
- Picking and packing orders, as well as sorting, crating, and stacking goods.
- Weighing materials and goods, and making labels to attach to products.
- Providing excellent customer service and assisting with inquiries.
- Organizing and maintaining inventory using computerized inventory control systems.
- Transporting and distributing materials and goods within the warehouse.
Qualifications
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: Will train; no prior experience necessary.
Skills Required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical tasks.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for customer service.
