We are currently seeking skilled Truck Mechanics to join our team in Stoney Creek, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and safety of our vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
As a Truck Mechanic, your primary duties will include:
- Adjusting, repairing, or replacing parts and components of commercial transport truck systems.
- Inspecting and testing mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
- Performing repairs on truck and trailer systems.
- Testing and adjusting repaired systems to meet manufacturer specifications.
- Estimating parts and labor costs for vehicle maintenance and repairs.
- Performing scheduled maintenance services.
- Advising customers on work performed and future repair requirements.
- Completing reports to document problems and work performed.
Qualifications
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in truck mechanics.
Skills Required
- Strong attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Flexibility to work evenings, nights, weekends, and on-call shifts.
- Excellent client focus and communication skills.
- A reliable team player with a strong sense of punctuality.
