About the Employer:
The West Egg Group Security Services is dedicated to providing strategic security solutions with a customer service-based approach. We are currently seeking a Tactical Security Guard Specialist to join our team, focusing on ensuring safety and security in various respite and shelter locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform pre-operational inspections and monitor assigned areas.
- Conduct security patrols and respond to routine, emergency, and security calls.
- Provide high visibility and support to clients while acting as a safety ambassador.
- Maintain logs of daily activities, unusual occurrences, and equipment issuance.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to enhance security measures.
- Assist with the evacuation of individuals during emergencies and report safety hazards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum high school diploma or Grade 12 education.
- Minimum of 2 years of security-related experience, preferably in a tactical role.
- Must possess a valid Security Guard License.
- Strong knowledge of the Criminal Code and Trespass to Property Act is required.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
