About the Employer:
Kinterra Capital is seeking an experienced and strategic Operations Vice-President to lead their goods production, utilities, transportation, and construction sectors. With a focus on innovation and efficiency, Kinterra Capital aims to drive operational excellence and contribute to sustainable development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Allocate material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs effectively.
  • Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions.
  • Coordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs.
  • Represent the organization in negotiations or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization in official functions.
  • Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff; delegate necessary authority and create optimal working conditions.
  • Evaluate the efficiency of production sites to ensure adequacy of personnel, equipment, and technologies used.
  • Assess technical designs and engineering work to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to support organizational programs.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of relevant experience in operations management or a related area.
  • Language: Proficiency in English is required.

Workplace Information:

  • This position requires on-site work; remote work is not an option.

Technical Skills and Knowledge:
Candidates should possess knowledge in the following areas:

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and MS Windows.
  • Experience in mining and exploration is an asset.

  • Ability to manage a large workload effectively.
