Hours: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, transitioning to 3:30 pm to 12:30 am (Monday through Friday) after 30 to 60 days on the job (shift premium will be applied)

Key Responsibilities:
- Unload and load trucks safely and efficiently.
- Package and unpack all products and components, assembling sections and filling orders for shipment.
- Operate forklifts, hand trucks, or other equipment to load, unload, transport, and store goods.
- Assemble containers and crates, pack goods for shipping, and prepare identifying information and shipping instructions.
- Review orders to determine loading layout on trucks and oversee the loading and unloading process.
- Plan daily shipments and inspect incoming goods against invoices or other documents, recording shortages and rejecting damaged goods.
- Prepare bills of lading for shipping and maintain internal record-keeping systems.
- Call customers to arrange delivery of orders and conduct monthly inventory counts on conduit pipe.
- Re-bundle damaged conduit and know safe storage and handling procedures for various chemicals and materials.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including Lockout Tagout (LOTO) and OHSA regulations, and follow Atkore’s policies regarding respect, harassment, and workplace safety.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1 to 3 years of experience as a Forklift Operator (certification preferred; training will be provided).
- 1 to 3 years of experience as a Shipper & Receiver, with warehouse/distribution center experience required.
- Ability to perform basic math operations and measurements.
- Valid forklift operator license required.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize multiple projects.
- Proficient in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Capability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly, with tasks involving standing, bending, and kneeling.
What to Expect in Your First Months:
- Within 3 months: Complete required training, develop relationships with key stakeholders, and understand Atkore’s Business System.
- Within 6 months: Gain knowledge of the inventory system for raw materials and finished goods, understand inter-departmental processes, and establish working relationships within the team.
